My work is very creative, colorful, and innovative and mostly leaning toward abstract, painted in acrylic on canvas or paper. A few of my transparent watercolors are realistic illustration or portraits. I received my art degree at age 55, have served as president of two co-op galleries and enjoy painting more than ever in my retirement age, though not retired. I am active in several art organizations and a signature member of International Society of Acrylic Painters. (ISAP) To find my gallery in St. Augustine, Florida locate the Bridge of Lions going south on A1A, cross the bridge and head south until you see the Lighthouse. Joan Dorrill Art Studio is located in Lighthouse Plaza at 900-I. There are 3 buildings and I am in the 3rd one on the left going south. You will also find my work at Island Framers on Anastasia Island and Avondale Artworks in Jacksonville, FL
